Tracepro designs LED lenses

Tracepro unlike LightTools, is not a fool to achieve automatic optimization. It can only tell users what kind of illuminance and brightness can be obtained with a certain optical device. Optical designers can analyze these results through their own experience, and then use their own algorithms to improve the original design. Therefore, Tracepro is not "optical design software", but only "optical simulation software". The key to using Tracepro for optical design is not the software itself, but the designer's thinking, so Tracepro will be much cheaper than LightTools that are automatically optimized by software.
Although Tracepro cannot achieve automatic optimization, it is certain that:
1. Tracepro's physical model and simulation results are credible, and the error comes from the difference between the set model and the actual item.
2. The designer can use his own algorithm to design the curved surface of the lens to achieve any desired light output.
3. There is no optical device that succeeds once. Good products can only be realized after many times of “measured-modified-actually measured-modified” optimization. To shorten this process, mainly rely on the designer ’s experience and algorithm At present, there is no software that can automatically complete this optimization process.
4. LightTools can help designers save the first development time and obtain directional results, but after the actual measurement and optimization, LightTools is no different from Tracepro.
5. Based on the parametric optimization scheme of LightTools, it can only optimize the basic surface, but it has been able to cope with most of the actual lighting effect design.
