Grid is a monumental kinetic light installation illuminated the Hotel de Region of Rhone-Alpes for the 2013 edition of the Festival des Lumieres.
For the Festival des Lumieres 2013, Tetro and Whitevoid present GRID, a monumental kinetic light show created by the Berliner Christopher Bauder.

GRID reveals the architecture of the building designed by Christian de Portzamparc. GRID is a structure composed of 50 triangles consisting of motorized bars with 150 Leds, hanging to form a massive dynamic grid of 22m long.

Located at the heart of the Hotel de Region in Lyon-France, GRID combines light and movement based on the 45 singers of Concert de l’Hostel Dieu and Robert Henke’s electronic notes.

Forming straight lines, diagonals and diamonds, GRID comes alive to the rhythm of contemporary sound of two bands :

Concert de l’Hostel Dieu whose choir will perform the Johann Sebastian Bach’s Immortal, arranged by Knut Nystedt and directed by Franck-Emmanuel Comte,

German artist Robert Henke, known since the 90s in the international electronic music scene and founder of Monolake.
